CE Solution Architect
The Role
The CE Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing and ensuring solution integrity for implementation projects involving CE, coordinating consultant teams, and providing invaluable advice to customers regarding business system design and implementation. This role will also include contributing to the development of best practices and active participation in presales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Develop and design end-to-end CE solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Design scalable, flexible, and secure architecture solutions that integrate with existing systems.
- Identify potential risks in operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Implementation & Deployment
- Lead the implementation of CE solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Ensure smooth deployment of solutions by coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, and addressing technical challenges.
Risk Management & Troubleshooting
- Identify potential risks and roadblocks early in the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Resolve complex issues related to solution design, performance, and integration.
Technology Integrations:
- Oversee the integration of CE systems with other enterprise applications
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of solutions within scope.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with business leaders, client teams, and external vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs and technical requirements.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to communicate solution designs and implementation plans.
- Embody Western Computers Gold Standard of Customer Experience expectations when interacting with stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance supply chain solutions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a senior role designing large-scale CRM solutions, especially in customer-facing areas like Sales, Service, and Marketing.
- Expertise in leading end-to-end implementations of Dynamics 365 CE, from requirement gathering through to deployment and post-implementation support.
- In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE architecture, customization, and configuration (entities, forms, views, workflows, security, etc.).
- Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and integrating these with Dynamics CE.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O), and integration tools
- Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (CE) Solution Architect Expert certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Certifications in related areas (Azure, Power Platform) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of business processes in customer engagement and CRM systems.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs and configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritize tasks.
