Senior BC Consultant - Support
The Role
The BC Sr. Consultant plays a large role in supporting customers in designing and implementing the heart of their business. This role will be integral in improving processes, streamlining systems with respect to domain of focus, and can translate tech speak into human speak. This role will be working with our clients to optimize operations, configure systems, and keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Clients
- Work directly with our clients’ teams to understand their unique business needs and pain points.
- Gather detailed requirements and craft tailored solutions that streamline their processes.
Solution Design & Implementation
- Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions tailored to customer service teams.
Customer Support Optimization:
- Develop strategies and processes to streamline customer support workflows within Dynamics 365 BC. Ensure that the system enables efficient handling of customer queries, issues, and service requests.
System Integration:
- Work with clients to integrate Dynamics 365 BC with other systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, third-party tools) to provide a seamless customer support experience and improve cross-departmental collaboration.
Training & Enablement:
- Provide comprehensive training to customer support teams on using Dynamics 365 BC, including setup, workflows, and best practices. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to ensure users are fully adopting the platform.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Leverage built-in reporting and analytics tools within Dynamics 365 BC to generate actionable insights on customer support performance, including case resolution times, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas where customer service operations can be improved by leveraging Dynamics 365 BC’s automation capabilities, such as automating repetitive tasks or integrating AI-driven support tools.
Change Management:
- Assist clients in managing organizational change as they transition to Dynamics 365 BC for customer support, ensuring smooth adoption across teams.
Post-Implementation Support:
- Offer ongoing consulting services to troubleshoot issues, address system updates, and continuously enhance the platform to meet evolving customer support needs.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align Dynamics 365 BC configuration with overall business objectives.
System Configuration & Customization
- Configure ERP systems with respect to focus area.
- Customize workflows and reports to fit each client’s business model, ensuring smooth integrations.
End-to-End Implementation
- Lead the implementation of modules from start to finish—this includes everything from initial scoping, system setup, testing, and go-live support
- Ensure the system is not just running, but exceeding expectations.
Process Optimization
- Analyze existing finance operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Propose solutions and an implementation plan that enhances efficiency and reduces cost.
Training & Support
- Provide training sessions for client teams to ensure they are comfortable and confident using their new systems.
- Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize system performance as the business grows.
- Mentor other consultants and provide knowledge and guidance on best practices.
Data Migration & Integrity
- Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to new platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the process and beyond.
Project Management
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure deadlines are being met, hours allocation for tasks are within your abilities, and client satisfaction remains high.
Stay on the Cutting Edge
- Continuously monitor updates and new features in BC and areas of focus. You'll be our go-to expert for the latest and greatest in ERP trends and advancements, always looking for ways to improve our offerings.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with other consultants and departments to ensure seamless integration across all business functions.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years or more experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent understanding of Business Central with regard to area of focus.
- Dynamics Business Central certifications.
- Experience interfacing with end-users and gathering business requirements.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and articulate how Dynamics BC can add value to their business.
- Experience designing and coordinating multiple BC full cycle deployments.
- Worked on multiple successful implementations both on-site and remote.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
- Strong understanding and exposure to Microsoft Power Platform.
